Default W/D Build

Here's a build I've been using for the past couple weeks for general pve, what do you guys think

[skill]conviction[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]Soldier's Strike[/skill][skill]Whirlwind Attack[/skill][skill]Crippling Slash[/skill][skill]Final Thrust[/skill][skill]Lion's Comfort[/skill][skill]Sunspear Rebirth Signet[/skill]

I have
13 - Swordsmanship
12 - tactics
3 - Strength
8 - Earth Prayers

I use a couple different swords all +15% dmg while in stance one with zealous one with amour penetration and two different elemental damages

I use Grognar's Defender (+45hp and -2 while in stance)

My chest and leggings are both sentry's (+10armour while in stance) With survivor boots and gloves and a lieutenants helm

Was just wondering what you guys thought of my set up and any suggestions would be good (keep in mind i only have nightfall and prophecies other wise i would have sun and moon slash etc) also any GWEN skills i could use as I'm saving up for it

thanks...

More Gash, more Flail, less Conviction.

More strength and less tactics. tactics and strength should be around even, or 9(8+1) Tactics and Strength.

Keep in mind in general PvE you can run the build nearly however you like. When in your own group, with your own heros and henchies, etc. You can run any build you like. Have fun with it.

But there are a few standard things, which are pretty important for a warrior to do, because they increase the warriors effectiveness quite a lot. (i.e deep wound , Increase Attack Speed stance, Knock Downs, etc)

Guild Wars has been around so long, and without many recent major changes to the mechanics of the warrior, it's build mechanics haven't become cookie-cutter so much as it's become "common-sense", for better or for worse I don't know.

3-4 attacks (inculding an elite attack) IAS stance, IMS stance. Then choose from Heal, Utility, Rez. Tada! you now have a balanced attacking warrior build, too bad that its so good it will crush creativity ;D (but don't worry its happening with all the classes)

Cheers!

It will *work* but to have Armor of Sanctity work its best, you would want to have many foes with conditions on them. Unless you only want to receive less damage from only one foe.

This can be done by having a hero (for example) use the skill [skill]Epidemic[/Skill] to blast whatever conditions you dish out to all foes close enough (great for cripple+bleed+gash builds that Crip Sword warriors can do). Or use one of the many condition spreading skills of a Necro, or Ranger, or an Ele which causes mass burning.

The only thing is, that you will have a hard trying to keep up Armor of Sanctity, it's a Derv skill for a reason. They gain energy after the skill ends, and can juggle it for other benefits. But for those sticky situations, or tough bosses it could help out.

Put together something that seems fun, and try it out, have fun with it!

Cheers

armor of sanctity works best on a dervish who can spam conditions on all adjacent(or more) foes. the only option a warrior could spam so many conditions so fast is to use cyclone axe/whirling attack/triple chop/hundred blades with apply poison, but than you're already limited to ranger secondary and thus cant use conviction.
the only dervish skill I'd use on a warrior if I'm not tanking with mystic regen and stuff is the enchantment removal skill. remove an enchantment every 5 seconds? YES PLEASE!!!
